Our Story

Founded in 2022, Ice Buddy is a community-driven organization based in the heart of San Francisco Bay Area. Our mission is to empower aspiring hockey players and foster a love for the sport. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to pursue their passion for hockey, regardless of background or financial constraints.

What We Do

At the core of our work lies a commitment to help  of young skaters and their families who does not have much back ground in this sport, just like when we first started . Here's how we do it:

Skills Development: We offer beginning hockey training sessions that focus on simple skills, such as skating, shooting and passing. Our volunteers work closely with younger players to help them get started on their skates, making simple to more advanced hockey moves and come up with simple self practice routines.

Gear Exchange: We understand hockey is an expensive sport. To ease this burden, we connect individuals and families, facilitating the exchange and donation of used hockey gear. This ensures that no one is left behind due to equipment costs.
